আমাদের এক বান্ধবীর শিশুকণ্যা নেহেরীন মায়ের ফেসবুকে নিজের লেখা নিচের কবিতাটি পোস্ট করেছিলো তেরো ঘন্টা আগে -

I Hate Boys
----
I hate boys --
They make a lot of noise
Even the ones in my class
Play with toys.

They tease the girls,
And make us cry.
Most of the times they lie --
Can someone tell me why?



আমি কাজে যাবার আগমুহুর্তে তা দেখে একটু হালকা করে মন্তব্য করেছিলাম-
that's why they are boys, they are meant to be naughty at school ;)

কাজের ফাঁকে আবার দেখলাম অন্য একটি মেয়ে, হয়তো নেহেরীনের বন্ধু, আমার নিচে লিখেছে-
Boys are stupid, throw rocks at them!!!!

তাই আমাকে আবার লিখতে হলো -
You hate the boys,
you have that choice,
but you can't do that
jus' bcoz they make noise!

There's no playground,
someone has taken that joy,
what else can they do
save play with a toy?

Not all of them tease girls,
Sure, some of them do,
Girls shouldn't cry, instead
yell at them loud, Boo!

Boys do lie at times
when the question is dumb,
Agree, when they do
they get under evil's thumb.

Telling you'gain, don't hate them
jus' bcoz you see what you see,
There would certainly be a boy
to give you a trembling knee :)

কিন্তু এর একটু পরই ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় এলাকায় যে সব naughty boy দের কীর্তি পত্রিকায় পড়লাম, আমার বলতে ইচ্ছে হলো -
Dear Neherin, keep hating boys!
অচেনা মেয়ে, throw rocks at them!
